Organizational and Talent Development

The Organizational & Talent Development Framework provides a strategic model for developing faculty and staff at Missouri State University. The framework identifies four key development areas—Personal Excellence, Professional Competence, Leadership Acumen, and Intentional Engagement—that guide employee learning and professional growth across the university.

These development areas support Missouri State’s Public Affairs Mission—Cultural Competence, Ethical Leadership, and Community Engagement—and align with the university’s Long-Range Plan to invest in leadership development and talent retention.

Using this framework as our guide, the Organizational & Talent Development team provides workshops, courses, and development programs designed to strengthen individual capability, support leadership development, and advance organizational effectiveness across the Missouri State community.
