Appealing a Ticket
How do I appeal a ticket?
You must appeal a parking ticket or other notice to the parking appeals administrator within ten (10) business days of the ticket date.
You can submit an online form through the Parking Portal or send an email to parking@missouristate.edu
Original appeal
The university parking policy gives a free appeal for eligible violations.
If the original appeal is denied a second appeal must be submitted within ten (10) business days of the email decision date.
Appeal decision information
Send Appeal Forms and documents to the appeals office within ten (10) business days of the ticket date. If the first appeal is denied you may submit a second appeal within ten (10) business days of the decision date to the parking appeals committee. This may be submitted through the parking portal or a emailed to parking@missouristate.edu
The decision of the administrator to deny the appeal will be final unless you appeal the decision to the parking appeals committee within ten (10) business days of the decision date. The Second Appeal maybe completed online through the parking portal or a second appeal form may be completed and emailed to parking@missouristate.edu
Finding your account balance
If you are student, staff or faculty you will find your account balance in My Missouri State. If you receive a bill for the appealed ticket(s), it is itemized on account balance. If you are non-affiliated with the University you may pay through the online parking portal.
