To enhance convenience and sustainability, Missouri State University Transportation Services is moving to virtual parking permits.
Virtual permits eliminate the need for stickers and hangtags, allow users to update vehicles online without visiting an office, reduce waste, and simplify parking enforcement.
This system uses advanced License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology, where specialized cameras read your license plate to instantly verify that you have a valid permit.
You will receive an email confirmation of your permit purchase.
All Faculty, Staff and Students will need to renew your parking permit for Academic Year 2026-27.
We have battery jumpstarts and tire inflation, if needed call 417-836-5509.
