The Office of the Registrar is here to support student academic success.  Our main functional areas include registration, degree audit, graduation and transcripts.

Important dates

Spring Break begins (March 9 - March 17). No classes; offices open.

Registration

Summer and fall registration generally opens in late March / early April and spring registration generally opens in late October.

Check your Registration Status in your My Missouri State for your earliest registration date and time,  your academic status, and any holds preventing registration.

Transcripts

Missouri State partners with Parchment to provide our official transcripts. An official transcript can be sent electronically or by mail and costs $10.00 per transcript. 

A copy of your unofficial transcript can be found in your My Missouri State or can be requested by emailing the Office of the Registrar at Registrar@MissouriState.edu

Commencement & Graduation

Commencement Ceremony

Students are required to apply to graduate.  Applying to graduate informs our office that you are ready to have your record reviewed for graduation eligibility. Your application also provides us with information used for commencement participation and the commencement program. Please review your degree audit and the Graduation Checklist and Commencement Eligibility webpage for additional information.

Student Information Change

It is important that all students keep up-to-date and accurate contact information on file with the University. You can update your personal email address, phone number, and emergency contact information in your My Missouri State. 

You can change your address by submitting the Change of Address Form to the Office of the Registrar.

To request changes to legal information such as name, marital status, social security number, date of birth, sex, guardianship (parent or legal guardian) or citizenship status, complete the Student Information Form and submit the required documentation to the Office of the Registrar.

Enrollment Verification

Students can receive an enrollment verification or certificate of attendance for any or all semesters at Missouri State University.  

The National Student Clearinghouse is a source for instant verification of past and current enrollment that includes your name, beginning and ending dates of term, and enrollment status (full-time, three-quarter time, half-time, or less than half-time).

If additional information such as address, GPA, class schedule, SSN, address, degree awarded or expected graduation date is needed, you can complete the online request form.

If you do not have access to your My Missouri State, you can send an email to Registrar@MissouriState.edu.
