All Nutrition Talks are free for attendees and are presented by registered dietitians and/or students in the nutrition and dietetics program.

Sweet Lies and Bitter Truths: Sugar's Role in Cancer

Summary: Does sugar cause cancer? Join us as we explore the complex relationship between the sugar in our diets and America’s second leading cause of death. We will unpack the science of how our diets impacts cancer development and progression. We will also overview eating patterns and styles that have been linked to lower cancer rates.
