A common question when considering if joining a fraternity or sorority is right for you, is "What is the cost?" It's important to remember that joining a chapter comes with a financial commitment. Below you will find the financial information available for each of the governing councils at Missouri State University. 

Interfraternity Council

"New Member Dues" indicate the amount during the first semester of membership. "Active Member Dues" indicate the amount for each semester after the new member semester. The "Total" is the cumulative cost of the first year of membership. This financial information does not include the cost of living in the chapter's facility, which you would typically do in the second year of membership.

This category represents new member and active member dues for the first year of membership. 

Fall Semester: $1,183.64 ($737-$1,680)

Spring Semester: $700.88 ($515-$957)

Average Out of House Dues

This category represents active member dues after the first year of membership for women that are not living in the house.
