Hazing Prevention
Missouri State University is committed to fostering a campus community where every student can learn, lead, and belong in an environment built on dignity, respect, and personal safety. Hazing has no place in our community and is inconsistent with the University's values and Public Affairs Mission.
All students, student organizations, and members of the University community share a responsibility to promote healthy, positive membership experiences that support personal growth without causing physical, emotional, or psychological harm. Missouri State University expects all organizations to uphold the highest standards of conduct and accountability.
To help students and organizations understand these expectations, the following policies outline the University's standards regarding hazing, alcohol, and other prohibited conduct. Students and organizations are encouraged to review these policies carefully and ensure their activities align with University expectations.

Get ready for a week of fun, interactive events with PHA, IFC, and NPHC! Join us as we come together to raise awareness, take a stand against hazing, and learn how YOU can make a positive difference in our community.
09/21-Bears Donut Haze:
Stop by the PSU patio for a free Hurts Donut and learn more about what you can do to prevent hazing!
09/21- Beers Aren’t Bad:
IFC will be hosting an educational for members to come reframe conversations around drinking, peer pressure, and social culture.
09/22-These Hands Don’t Haze:
Students are invited to write motivational anti-hazing messages on their hands and share a photo to spread awareness and promote a hazing-free community.
09/23-Knock Out Hazing:
Students are invited to register a team, compete in a fun dodgeball tournament, and experience community while coming together for a great cause.
09/24- Button Up Against Hazing:
Students are invited to stop by, grab a custom button featuring an anti-hazing message, and wear it to help spread awareness and promote a hazing-free campus
09/25- Blackout Against Hazing:
Students are invited to wear black, come together as a community, and take a group photo to show their support for standing against hazing.
