The Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) designation is recognized as a standard of proficiency in the field and is sponsored by the International Association of Administrative Professionals. The university recognizes the attainment of this rating by any full-time regular employee who is in a nonexempt, classified secretarial/clerical/office support position - Job Family 1. Please refer to the Employee Handbook, paragraph 6.4.3, for additional information.
Certified Administrative Professional Review Course
The CAP Review Course provides an overview of the topics that are tested on the CAP Exam. The review course does not provide in-depth instruction on each topic. Therefore, individual study and previous academic knowledge is required for exam preparation. Participants will receive a CAP Study Guide and additional study materials in the review course for preparation of the CAP Exam.
Additional information about the CAP Review Course, application process and testing are covered at the CAP orientation session.
Please register online in My Learning Connection, located in My Missouri State, and search under "Professional Development" to register for the current orientation and review class session.
