Institutional Compliance Online Training

Overview

Missouri State University is committed to providing all members of our community a place of study and work free from discrimination and harassment. Institutional Compliance has developed an online training program designed to inform, educate and guide members of the University community on identifying and preventing discrimination and harassment.

Requirements

All Employees will complete their compliance training through My Learning Connection. Additional tutorials and resources on how to access My Learning Connection and other training programs are also available at Professional Development. Within the first 30 days of employment, all new employees are required to complete their web-based Institutional Compliance training. You are required to complete the two sessions listed below. Other trainings are available such as HIPAA and FERPA are optional and/or department specific.

Register for and complete the following two web-based programs through My Learning Connection:

  • Preventing Discrimination and Harassment
  • Preventing Sexual Misconduct (Title IX)

All new employees are required to complete the Preventing Discrimination and Harassment and Preventing Sexual Misconduct (Title IX) as part of their New Employee Orientation process. Employees may print a certificate of completion for their Supervisor but there is no need to send a copy to Human Resources for documentation. The employee's completion is documented electronically in My Learning Connection.
