Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc. is a national sorority founded in 1990 at the University of Iowa. They are a historically Latina-based national sorority with a multicultural membership. Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc. is committed to their principles of morals & ethics, social interaction, academics, community service, and cultural awareness.

National Philanthropy

Sigma Lambda Gamma and its member groups actively support the important societal issue of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Sigma Lambda Gamma is a proud supporter of the TRIO Program, which involves Federal outreach and student services programs that are intended to help underrepresented students succeed academically and socially.

Requirements to Join Sigma Lambda Gamma Sorority

Collegiate membership in Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. is limited to women who are actively working toward obtaining a baccalaureate degree at a recognized college or university. Potential candidates must be enrolled full time in their respective school and have obtained a minimum of a 2.6 cumulative GPA based on a four-point scale.
