Food Drive

Contribute to the MSU food drive

According to Feeding America, 1 in 7 people in Missouri struggles with hunger.

The MSU community can do something to help!

From October 7th - 23rd, we will be holding a food drive to benefit MSU’s Bear Pantry and Crosslines Food Pantry.

Working in our community to improve food security is one of the seventeen Sustainable Community Development Goals:

Goal 2: End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.

Collection competition

MSU colleges, residence halls and administrative departments are invited to compete in the food drive.  The college, residence hall and administrative department that collects the most items wins!

Since some administrative departments can be smaller than others, departments are allowed to partner on the event.

Collection boxes will be provided to each college and residence hall. Administrative departments that wish to participate should register using our form below.  There is no need for residence halls or colleges to complete the form below.  We already have the necessary information.

In addition to the prizes listed below, Chartwells will match up to $700 worth of food items.
