SGA Sustainability Commission
What is the Sustainability Commission?
As part of the Executive Branch of the Student Government Association, The Sustainability Commission promotes economically, environmentally, and socially sustainable practices on the Missouri State campus. This includes researching, submitting, and voting on proposals for the Sustainability Fund, educating the student body about sustainability through outreach and events, and advocating for university policies that uphold MSU's commitment to sustainability.
The Sustainability Commission meets biweekly with student commissioners to work on projects and once a semester with administrators to vote on student proposals. The Sustainability Commission manages the Sustainability Fund of over $250,000 to fund and help implement these proposals.
