Biography
Dr. Friske is the Endowed Chair in the College of Business and an Associate Professor of Marketing at Missouri State University (MSU). He joined MSU in 2015 after completing his doctorate at Texas Tech University. He primarily teaches Marketing Research and Marketing Analytics.
Dr. Friske is the Editor of Journal of Research in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. He also serves as the Vice Chair of Early Career Membership and Communications for the Entrepreneurial Marketing Special Interest Group (EMSIG), which is part of the American Marketing Association (AMA).
His broad research area is marketing strategy, but he is particularly interested in the marketing-entrepreneurship interface and the sustainability and marketing systems dimensions of macromarketing. His research appears in Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Industrial Marketing Management, International Small Business Journal, Journal of Business Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and Journal of Macromarketing, among others.
