Five women came together in order to address the issue of much needed supported of Latinas and women of ALL cultures at the University of Iowa. Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. is about empowering YOU. Our organization is committed to their principles of moral & ethics, social interaction, academics, community service, and cultural awareness. The associated chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma at Missouri State truly believe that a multicultural experience during the college years and beyond enhances each member’s ability to function in a pluralistic society. Not only will you get the academic and moral support that you need to be successful in college, but you will gain a lifetime of memories and a valuable sisterhood. You will learn more about yourself and other cultures while taking and applying our five principles into the real world. As one strong, united sisterhood, our members dedicate their lives to empowering every woman they encounter. We proclaim: “Culture is Pride, Pride is Success!”
