Scholarships

Even if you already filled out our scholarship application, you should check back during your second semester or second year. Maybe you were undecided on your academic path but then chose a major, or maybe you switched majors. We offer so many scholarships that it never hurts to revisit our site later in your college journey. Grants

This is money you don’t have to pay back. Grants are usually based on financial need. They may also be given to students who are entering fields that are in great need of professionals.

Employment and work study

You can offset the cost of your education by working on campus or in the community. MSU’s office of student employment services can help you find a job that fits into your school schedule, and it’s free to use the services of this office.

Missouri State’s emergency assistance programs

We also offer emergency assistance programs for students with immediate financial needs.

Examples of what we offer: grants that can help students finish degrees, short-term loans and scholarship funds to help during an unforeseen personal crisis.

Depending on federal support, you may also be able to apply for emergency assistance directly related to COVID-19.
