How to pay your bills and address other financial services

Find your account balance

There are two ways to see info about your Missouri State account balance:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of your home page and select “Discover More.” Type in “University Account Billing” and locate the card. From there, select the “Statement and Payment Portal” to see your account balance and payments.
  2. Check your Missouri State email account. An email from ARStatements@MissouriState. edu with a link to your account statement will be sent to your Missouri State email account approximately the 12th of each month. If you do not owe a balance, you will not receive an email.

Where and how to pay: Bursar’s office

This office, on the first floor of Carrington Hall, is responsible for processing student payments. Contact this office if you need to pay a university bill or deposit funds for your BearPass Card. The office accepts cash, personal checks, money orders and cashier’s checks.

You may also pay online. If you pay using your banking information, there is no charge. If you pay using credit or debit cards (Visa, American Express, Discover and MasterCard) a convenience fee of 2.75 percent will be charged.

Your payment plan

Missouri State automatically enrolls all students in the My Payment Plan. This plan allows you to make three installments during the semester instead of paying one lump sum. If you choose to use the My Payment Plan you will you will have a 1 percent finance charge assessed to your unpaid balance on the 11th of each month. If you do not wish to be part of the payment plan, simply pay your account balance in full by the 10th of each month.
