Want to land some scholarships as you begin college? Make sure you know the details, application information and deadlines.
MSU FUNDED SCHOLARSHIPS
Automatic combined GPA and standardized test score
Your high school GPA and ACT or SAT scores upon admission may qualify you for these scholarships. Each option provides funds for tuition and on-campus housing.
- Board of Governors: $5,500 per year
- Provost: $3,000 per year
- Deans: $2,000 per year
Automatic GPA only
These scholarships are based on just your high school GPA upon admission. Each option provides the funds below.
- Academic Excellence: $2,000 per year
- Academic Distinction: $1,500 per year
- Academic Achievement: $1,000 per year
COMPETITIVE SCHOLARSHIPS
These scholarships factor in what you do beyond the classroom as well.
Criteria may include: academics (grades), promotion of the principles of equity and inclusion, community service, excellence in leadership, financial need, performing arts, athletics and more.
- Presidential Scholarship: $15,000
- Inclusive Excellence Scholarship: $4,000
- Hutchens/SGA Centennial Leaders Scholarship: $2,500
OTHER SCHOLARSHIPS
Many other scholarships with various criteria are available, like the MoState Access Award, the Missouri State Advantage Scholarship and more.
DONOR FUNDED SCHOLARSHIPS
Through private gifts to the Missouri State University Foundation, scholarships are awarded annually to students for academics, leadership and/or financial need.
