Grab a nametag and welcome bag at our check-in stations.

Walking tours

9 a.m. – noon
Meet at bear statue north of the Plaster Student Union
Take a walking tour of academic buildings with a current student. Please allow 30 to 40 minutes for the tour. Last tour departs at 11:30 a.m.

Foster Recreation Center tours

9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Foster Recreation Center, enter through main doors from the south side.
The Foster Recreation Center is a place for the entire campus community to work out, play and learn about healthy living. Last tour departs at 1:30 p.m.

This is an opportunity to meet faculty and staff members who represent more than 170 academic majors and programs.

Student life expo

Plaster Student Union, 2nd floor
Visit booths inside Plaster Student Union to meet representatives from several campus organizations and student support services.

Residence hall tours

10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. 
Meet at front desk of each open residence hall
Come on in! Quick tours of select residence halls. Please allow 30 to 40 minutes for the tour. Last tour departs at 1 p.m.

  • Anthropology lab demo: Discover how
    anthropologists and archaeologists learn about 
    our ancestors and the human past. Check out fossils,

  Start in Blunt Hall Link for both of these sessions.

  • Chemistry: Explore high-tech instruments and discuss your research opportunities as an undergraduate student.

  • Earth, environment and sustainability: Take a guided campus tour to learn more about the rock types used in our architecture and landscaping. Perfect for future geologists, nature enthusiasts, or anyone curious about the stories hidden in stone.
