Campus Life and Traditions
Live like a Bear
Campus thrums with an electric energy. You’ll always find something to do.
And you’ll find a community of people who love what you love. Missouri State is a welcoming, inclusive community with 375+ organizations.
You can join a group focused on:
- Arts and entertainment.
- Academic and professional areas.
- Greek life.
- Health and wellness.
- Politics and issues.
- Faith and spirituality
- Recreation, games, sports and activities.
- Culture, identity and heritage.
- Service and volunteerism.
- Leadership and personal growth.
- MSU spirit and traditions.
We also have live music, engaging speakers, comedy, movies, pool parties and much more.
We also find reasons to celebrate being a Bear all year long. It all starts at Welcome Weekend, the best way to reunite on campus before the start of the fall semester. And each spring we celebrate our beloved fountain returning on Fountain Day.
And every BearWear Friday, we wear maroon and white (as well as many other days, of course).

You can see a doctor, get a checkup or fill prescriptions at our on-campus clinic. We have doctors, nurses, specialists and pharmacists dedicated to providing medical care to Bears.
