Standardized Assessments of Language Proficiency

Some high school students, particularly those who have attained a state-recognized seal of biliteracy, have taken standardized assessments whose scores reference the performance or proficiency guidelines of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL). Visit the links below for credit information about ACTFL-referenced exams.

In order to receive credit for scores not reported on official transcripts, a representative from your school must submit your official score report to the Office of Admissions. If the ACTFL-referenced standardized assessment of language proficiency you took is not listed here, please contact the Department of World Languages and Cultures.
