About Bart

Missouri State has been a great place to work. I have experience as a Residence Hall Director, Admissions Counselor, Coordinator of Freshman Recruitment and now as the Assistant Director of Admissions focusing on transfer recruitment. I have twin daughters who recently graduated from MSU. I loved the occasional lunch together in the residence hall dining centers.

Favorite spot on campus

Karls Hall (Agriculture building) has a shady sitting area tucked away next to the building. It is a great space to eat lunch and read a book amongst the business of campus. The University Bookstore is my second favorite spot as it is the exact opposite — lots going on and it is fun to check out all the Bear Wear for sale.

Favorite thing about MSU

I’ve seen many wonderful changes on campus over 25 years, but I am always the most impressed with the consistent quality of students. I get to meet students from around Missouri, throughout the US and the world — each one heading to their own destination through the crossroads of Missouri State University.

Quirky note

I love a good dad joke and cake donuts with white icing and sprinkles, not necessarily in that order.
