COPR Community Conference on Poverty

The Missouri State University Center for Ozarks Poverty Research (COPR) offers an interdisciplinary community conference aimed at linking local practitioners, community members, nonprofits, and researchers on themes around poverty.

CONFERENCE SCHEDULE

Join us for our 3rd annual community conference and a day of networking, brainstorming and
problem-solving around student, faculty, and practitioner presentations, informational panels, and tables with resources from local agencies.

Thursday, April 23

9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Healthy Food Financing Initiative Meeting
Missouri Rural Food Action Partnership members only.

3-5 p.m.

Breakout sessions
The Intersection of Food, Disability and Health by faculty, students and practitioners.
Open to the public.

Friday, April 24

9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Keynote and Community Panel
COPR Conversation on Health and Disability
Open to the public.

12-1 p.m.

Local lunch provided by Mo State Dietetics Students
Free for attendees.

1-3 p.m.

Breakout sessions

Local food tour sponsored by CPO, Empower MO, MO Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
