Shuttle tours of campus

9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. 
Plaster Student Union, north entrance shuttle stop. Last shuttle tour departs at Noon.​
These tours provide a unique view of campus and offer our story as it can only be told by our students. Please allow approximately 30 minutes for tours. Last shuttle departs at noon.

Walking tours of campus

Meet at bear statue north of the Plaster Student Union
Take a walking tour of academic buildings with a current student. Please allow 30 to 40 minutes for the tour. Last walking tour departs at 10:30 a.m.

Individualize your Summer Visit Day by experiencing engagement opportunities presented by different academic areas.

  • Farm-to-table – Join us for a discussion of our many farm-to-table products which allow our students a hands on experience from genetics to production to end product. Students can also learn about the innovative ways we’re combining production agriculture and wildlife management at our numerous properties.  Karls Hall 102: 12:45 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:15 p.m.
  • Film critic for a day – Watch award-winning short films by Missouri State students and College of Arts and Letters faculty members. PSU Theater: 12:45 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:15 p.m.
  • A Day in the Life – Tour our newly opened Glass Hall that showcases new spaces and renovated classrooms. See what your day might look like as a business student. Glass Hall atrium: 12:45 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:15 p.m.
  • Virtual Reality in the Classroom – See the future of technology in the classroom and learn about opportunities in the College of Education. Meyer Library 215: 12:45 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:15 p.m.
  • Hands-on Health Care – See Missouri State’s health care education labs in action. Professional Building for biomedical sciences and public health; O’Reilly Clinical Health Sciences Building for nursing, surgical labs, and ultrasound: 12:45 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:15 p.m.
  • K-9 Unit Demo – Gain first-hand knowledge of investigation procedures from the criminology department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol, plus observe a K-9 Unit in action. Carrington Hall Auditorium, Room 208: 12:45 p.m. and 1:45 p.m.
  • Physics – Electricity and magnetism demonstrations. Temple Hall 143: 12:45 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:15 p.m.
