You should also plan for your personal expenses. The office of student financial aid establishes a cost of attendance that is used in making financial aid awards. It includes the above costs and an estimate for personal expenses.

Out-of-State Fee Waiver
There are a lot of great reasons to attend Missouri State University if you are not from Missouri. You will meet new people and gain confidence that translates after graduation. You could even pay less. When you factor in financial aid, Missouri State may even be more affordable for you than an in-state school.
You may qualify for the Out-of-State Fee Waiver, a full waiver of nonresident fees. To qualify, you must have:
24+ ACT (or SAT of 1180*) OR
3.50 GPA on a 4.0 scale OR
A class rank in the top 25%
