Getting Involved

Connect with fellow Bears

At Missouri State, it’s easy for you to be who you are and find a niche right for you. You’ll get the most out of college life thanks to a student body known for being warm and welcoming.

Enjoy events for students, by students

Student Activities Council brings awesome events to campus, open to the entire student body. You will be invited to comedy shows, concerts, free movies and much more.

Recent headliners brought to campus by SAC include Phillip Phillips, Karmin, Macklemore, Dane Cook, Donald Glover, Jimmy Fallon, Zach Galifianakis and Wiz Khalifa.

Choose from hundreds of clubs

You can get involved and become a leader at Missouri State in so many ways! You can choose from more than 300 organizations.

There are groups based on culture, religion, politics, socializing, intramural sports, academic interests and more.

Find a complete list of student organizations. Don’t see what you want? You can start your own organization!

Go Greek

MSU is also home to more than 25 fraternities or sororities. You can become a part of Greek life on campus by rushing a fraternity and sorority at the start of each semester.

Our Greek community is highly involved in Homecoming in the fall and Greek Week in the spring, along with community service and social events throughout the year.

Go Maroon!

Students get in free to almost all home athletic events during the regular season, making it easy for you to cheer on the Bears. Join Maroon Madness, one of the largest student organizations on campus, to be the ultimate Bear booster.

Need some maroon and white? Stop by the Missouri State Bookstore – your BearWear headquarters – to gear up for the big game.

Maroonify yourself, your phone, your computer and more by visiting Go Maroon! Don’t forget to submit your BearWear photo, too!
