Patron Centered Rules and Precautions for the Aquatic Center
  • Patrons will be encouraged to shower before entering the pool.
  • Patrons will be provided with all equipment they may need for their workout by the lifeguards on duty. This process is put in place to ensure equipment is sanitized after usage.
  • Lap lanes will be limited to six (6) patrons at once.
  • A maximum capacity of 53 patrons in the pool will be enforced based on locker room limitations.
  • Spa is limited to two (2) patrons at one time.
  • Patio furniture will be spaced 6 feet apart and will need to be monitored by lifeguards as patrons move the furniture.
  • The sauna is closed.
  • Towel service is available.

The Aquatic Center’s hours of operation are separate from those of the Foster Recreation Center. They vary depending on the semester and during breaks; contact the the FRC for up-to-the-minute info about pool hours.

The pool will be open to Foster Recreation Center members even if a water class is in session. Parts of the aquatic center may be in use, but members will be able to access other sections.

Fall hours run from the Friday before the first day of fall classes through spring commencement.

The pool at Hammons Student Center is also open to students, faculty and staff for lap swimming at designated times.
