COVID-19 Updates

The Office of Student Financial Aid is open and accepting walk-in traffic. Mask are required, so please be sure to #MaskUp before stopping by. Appointments can be made to meet with one of our advising staff, though we are still conducting all meetings virtually for the safety of our students and our staff. Cellular Hot Spot Devices

The University has a limited quantity of cellular internet hot spot devices that can be made available to students enrolled in all or partial online courses. If needed, pleas submit an inquiry form.

Institutional Scholarships

For those who were unable to renew their institutional scholarship but wish to appeal their fund termination, please complete and submit the Institutional Scholarship Appeal form.

Some students may wish to place their institutional scholarship on hold in order to participate in internships, for life-enriching experiences, or due to extenuating circumstances beyond their ability to control. To request a hold be placed on your institutional scholarship, please complete this online form.

Financial aid options

Incoming freshmen

To be considered for financial aid, including scholarships, at Missouri State university, you must be admitted.

Transfer students

As a transfer student, you are eligible for a number of financial aid opportunities at Missouri State.

Current students

To be considered for federal and state aid, complete the FAFSA each year.

Graduate students

Missouri State offers scholarships specifically for graduate students.
