The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a vital form for college students who want to receive financial aid. It's the gateway to scholarships, loans and grants. This year, the federal government revamped the FAFSA form and process. All the changes have created a nationwide bottleneck – colleges and future students across the country are in this same situation.
Missouri State is now receiving FAFSA data daily. Aid packages are going out now to students who have already submitted their FAFSA with MSU’s school code. There's still time to submit your FAFSA. The sooner you apply, the quicker you will receive an aid package.

Good news: As a continuing student at Missouri State, your financial aid process is not currently delayed.
Returning students don’t receive aid information for the next school year until after spring semester grades are due. This means your 2024-25 financial aid information should be available sometime after May 14.
