College-Level Examination Program (CLEP)

The College-Level Examination Program (R) (CLEP) helps students receive college credit for what they already know.  Developed by the College Board, CLEP is the most widely accepted credit-by examination program, available at more than 2,900 colleges and universities.  There are 34 CLEP exams available.

We strongly recommend students confirm with the college or university they plan to attend if the CLEP exam they plan to take will be accepted.

Registration for CLEP

CLEP exams are given on request.  Registering for a CLEP exam is a multiple-step process.

Step 1:  Students must select an exam and register with CLEP.

Step 2: Schedule a date and time through our online form.

Step 3: Pay the sitting fee ($25.00) through our online payment system.  Candidates may be asked to provide proof of payment at the time of check-in; please be sure to bring a printed copy of the sitting fee receipt OR be able to access it on a smartphone.
