Join A Trip
Every person who goes on a Bear Breaks immersion trip is a Missouri State student, faculty, or staff member. Typically, 10 participants with 2 student trip leaders, and 2 Faculty/Staff Advisors. All participants and trip leaders apply at various times during the year due to high demand.
Participants will engage in direct service, learn about different cultures, and discuss social issues and active citizenship. Upon their return from the trip, groups will look to address social issues in their own communities.
These experiences are also available for service-learning course credit. If you are interested in earning academic credit during your immersion trip, we encourage you to attend our informational meeting.
