Dr. Jean Strait and Dr. Katherine Nordyke spoke at the conference on Thursday, April 15, 2021. Dr. Strait and Dr. Nordyke were joined by several Missouri State University Service-Learning students who spoke about their service-learning projects. In the session, participants explored useful models and strategies for developing online activities, assignments, and assessments that center on community needs and impact, engage in creating inclusive, equitable, and collaborative learning spaces for designing course activities and assignments, and examine digital tools that facilitate or support community-engaged learning in the online environment.
