Fall 2023 Jazz Studies Ensemble Audition Information

GENERAL INFORMATION

Auditions will be held for all students who wish to perform in a jazz ensemble during the fall semester. Below is information regarding audition times and audition material. If you have questions please email Dr. Hausback.

It's going to be a really fun year for the jazz studies groups, including the possibility of a major upcoming trip!

SCHEDULE AN AUDITION

All students must sign up for an audition time during the assigned instrumental block. Online sign-up is available from August 1-13. Beginning August 14, you will need to stop by the Band Office in Wehr Band Hall to sign up.

Marching Band members should avoid scheduling an audition at the same time as Full Band Rehearsals. Choosing an audition time during the Sectional Block is allowed, if necessary.

Please don't wait until the last minute to sign up. There are also Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony auditions during these times, so plan accordingly.
