Complete all requirements within the political science major at Missouri State (42 hours), unless exempted by the program coordinator and appropriate
department personnel.
Timeline for eligible MSU students
After your sophomore year at Missouri State, notify the Missouri State political science
department that you intend to pursue the three-three path.
Take your LSAT in the June following your sophomore year.
Receive an early admission letter by November, if you’ve met LSAT score requirements.
Mizzou makes exceptions for the required GPA and LSAT score on a case-by-case basis.
Complete your first year of law school (full-time, 31 credit hours) in good academic
standing (grade of 77.5 or above). These credits fulfill the remaining requirements
for your undergraduate degree.
Working with the University of Missouri School of Law, submit your official transcript
to Missouri State.
After your transcript is approved, you’ll receive a bachelor’s degree from Missouri
State.
