Scholarships and Financial Aid

Missouri State offers several scholarships for students who are interested in pre-law. Your home department may also offer scholarship opportunities, so refer your department's website for more information.

Other aid opportunities

You may also qualify for other university scholarships. The office of financial aid provides information about university scholarships, grants and loans.

Applying for a scholarship

Most scholarships at Missouri State require the submission of a completed Missouri State scholarship application. Details about additional materials are included in the descriptions below.

Financial need is often considered in the awarding of scholarships, and is determined solely by your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

MSU Foundation Scholarships

MSU Foundation Scholarships are made possible through private gifts to the University made by individuals, groups or companies. They are awarded to students each year based on a wide range of criteria: college, major/minor, high school attended, outstanding academic achievement, leadership, financial need, etc.

The Search Tool will allow you to view available scholarships. You may search using keywords or the category search filter option, however you cannot apply for scholarships using the Search Tool.

For more information, including how to apply for all Foundation Scholarship opportunities by the March 1 deadline, please visit the MSU Foundation Scholarships.
