Applying for a scholarship
Most scholarships at Missouri State require the submission of a completed Missouri State scholarship application. Details about additional materials are included in the descriptions below.
Financial need is often considered in the awarding of scholarships, and is determined solely by your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Judge Jack A. Powell Endowed Scholarship Fund

Application
Complete the MSU Annual Scholarship Application by March 1.
Students should indicate an interest in pursuing a Law Degree in the Pre-Professional Section of the Departmental and General Online Scholarship Application.
Selection criteria
Awarded annually to a student pursuing a career in law leading to a PHD or JD. Consideration will be given to a junior or greater with an overall GPA of 3.0 that demonstrates leadership, is involved in extracurricular activities, and is likely to make a worthwhile contribution to society and the legal community.
Renewal criteria
This scholarship is renewed automatically. If a student receives the scholarship during their junior year, the scholarship is automatically renewed for the student's senior year if they maintain a 3.0 GPA.
Alice Bartee Scholarship

Scholarship amount varies depending on the availability of funding, but awards are usually for $450 - $500.
Application

Students should indicate an interest in pursuing a Graduate or Law Degree in the Pre-Professional Section of the Departmental and General Online Scholarship Application.
Selection criteria
Awarded annually to a full-time senior majoring in Political Science with the highest overall GPA that is planning to enroll in graduate school or law school.
Renewal criteria
This scholarship cannot be renewed.
