Academic Colleges and Departments
The office of the executive vice president and the provost leads and evaluates all academic activities and faculty affairs. The provost is the university’s chief academic officer. The executive vice president temporarily assumes presidential duties as needed.

Missouri State has six academic colleges and one Graduate College. These units comprise the overall structure of the university’s academic programs.
