Community Partner Ambassador Advisory Board

Purpose

The purpose of the Community Partner Ambassador Advisory Board (CPAAB) for CASL is to work collaboratively with the CASL office to move service-learning forward in addressing our community needs. We value the voice and the input from our partners to ensure that service-learning is reciprocal and of mutual benefit for collective action. The members of this board will also help to guide our community partners at large serving to educate organizations on the value of community-engaged learning, and help to ensure that community engagement and community-engaged learning is pervasive across campus and within our community at-large and that all have a shared understanding of what community-engaged learning is and that all feel they have a voice at the table and that outputs and outcomes serve the interest of all.  Members serve as though-partners and collaborators who help decide and inform the direction of activity, assessment, and dissemination and that asset-based partnerships are in place to recognize the value of knowledge, capacities, resources, and resilience of all partners and stakeholders.
