How do I apply for admission?

We recommend making sure you meet our freshman admission requirements first. You can then apply online. It’s FREE and takes about 15 minutes!

How do I send my high school transcript?

Be sure a parent or an administrator sends your transcript electronically or in the mail. This transcript needs to include name and semester you took each class.The amount of credit each class is worth, and grade received. And cumulative GPA (your final transcript must list a graduation date).

How do I apply for financial aid and scholarships?

Homeschool students can apply for the same types of aid as traditional students. We encourage you to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This helps determine your eligibility for financial aid.

Scholarships Available to Missouri State Students

Do you accept dual credit, CLEP, placement tests, etc.?

Yes! If you’ve earned or will earn dual credit, please contact your college or university about sending your transcripts to Missouri State. For placement tests, refer to our AP, CLEP or IB webpages to learn more about required scores and how to submit them.

Do I need to provide a HiSET/GED score with my application?

We only need a HiSET/GED score if you earn your high school diploma through one of these tests and don’t have a GPA. Read more about our high school equivalency diploma policies.
