The university’s Uber Business profile simplifies travel management for department-related ground transportation:

  • Dual Profiles in One App: Manage personal and official travel in a single Uber app using separate business and personal profiles.
  • Centralized Expense Tracking: Automated digital receipts simplify record-keeping for departmental budget administrators and expense reviewers.
  • Flexible Travel Solutions: Suitable for official staff travel, guest speaker/visitor transport, and campus event arrangements.

Requesting Account Access

Access to the Missouri State Uber Business program is provided upon request for eligible faculty and staff members.

How to Sign Up:

Email isaacbalasundaram@missouristate.edu with the following information:

  • Full Name
  • Department Name
  • Email Address

Getting Started After Onboarding

  1. Accept Invitation: Once added, you will receive an onboarding email.
  2. Link Account: Follow the link in the email to link your existing Uber app or a newly created profile.
  3. Select Profile During Rides: When requesting a ride for official university business, toggle the profile selector in the Uber app from Personal to Missouri State University.
