Missouri State Keeps Costs Within Reach

College is a major investment. Our philosophy is that a quality education should be within the financial reach of all students. MSU is affordable compared to other statewide universities, and our total costs are well below the national average. We also have an emphasis on helping our graduates get good jobs.

Pell Grant recipients from Missouri have all tuition and fees covered

In 2022, we announced the MoState Access Award. This award is available to students who are:

  • Incoming freshman or new transfer students,
  • Pell Grant eligible and
  • a Missouri resident.

Under this program, Missouri State University covers all the student’s remaining tuition costs after subtracting federal, state and institutional grant and scholarship awards. The MoState Access Award can be renewed for eight semesters.
