Phi Kappa Phi

The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is the nation’s oldest, most selective, and most prestigious all-discipline honor society. Standards for election to Phi Kappa Phi are extremely high. Membership is by invitation only to Missouri State’s top 7.5% of juniors and the top 10% of seniors. Invitations are issued each spring semester and there is a formal induction ceremony at the end of the academic year.

Phi Kappa Phi members are eligible to compete for Education Abroad Grants, Love of Learning Grants, and Graduate Fellowships. Since 2009, Phi Kappa Phi has invested over $17,000 in Missouri State University students. Missouri State University offers its own Phi Kappa Phi annual scholarship, ranging from $500 - $1000.

Established in 1974, Missouri State’s chapter of Phi Kappa Phi now includes over 4,500 members.
