Full-time undergraduate students carry 12 or more credit hours in a fall or spring semester or carry six or more credit hours during the summer session.
Half-time undergraduate students carry 6-11 credit hours during a fall or spring semester or carry 3-5 credit hours during the summer session.
Less than half-time undergraduate students carry less than six credit hours during a fall or spring semester or carry less than three credit hours during the summer session.

Full-time graduate students carry at least 9 credit hours during a fall or spring semester and at least 6 credit hours during the summer session.
Half-time graduate students take 5-8 credit hours during a fall or spring semester and 3-5 credit hours during the summer semester.
