Inclusive Teaching in STEM

Participants will read “Inclusive Teaching:  Strategies for Promoting Equity in the College Classroom” by Kelly A. Hogan and Viji Sathy.  This book is written by and for college teachers.  The authors are faculty in biology and mathematics so their examples will apply to CNAS classes.  The book includes references to many other scholarly works on the topic so participants can also explore those.  This Faculty Learning Community will introduce the book and then focus on the specific strategies that each participant might adopt to their classroom.
