HELP THE COMMUNITY BE HOLISTICALLY HEALTHY

Vision

The Peer Health Education Resource Center (PHERC) is an interdisciplinary center housed within Citizenship and Service Learning that will allow students the opportunity to engage with others to create a peer-led culture of health and wellness at MSU while completing service-learning hours.

Mission

The PHERC will allow students additional opportunities to fulfill the Public Affairs Mission of the university by practicing cultural competence, ethical leadership and community engagement within their own campus environment and by focusing on wellness initiatives that encompass all dimensions of health (physical, social, spiritual, emotional, environmental, intellectual, occupational and financial). Further, all efforts within the PHERC will align with the values of the university, especially valuing a student-centered learning environment.
