Food Collaborative

Sustainable Development Goals: 2, 3, 11, 12, 13

  • Assist with updating locations of current local food pantries and creation of new pantries. The Food Collaborative is group of community stakeholders that works to create a healthy local food system.  They focus on issues such as food security and access, local food, and food waste.  The group has worked with the Health Department to gather data for an area food access map (http://maps.springfieldmo.gov/foodaccess/). We could use help with checking data on the map and locating additional resources that are not listed.
