Expand Fix It Fairs

• Hold Fix It Fairs during Neighborhood Cleanup events
• Assist in expanding program
• Recruiting volunteers
• Additional locations within neighborhoods

Fix-It Fairs are an event of the Springfield Tool Library. Community volunteers come together, with tool boxes, sewing machines and more, to salvage people’s broken or damaged items and make them usable again. This service has been particularly heavily used by the elderly on fixed incomes.

Maximum number MSU students needed per event = 4-6

Events are held on Saturdays, September–November and March-June
