Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) builds basic learning skills necessary for career success. The program focuses on improving English skills, especially for people who use it as a second language. It also helps prepare people for the Missouri high school equivalence (HSE) exams, post-secondary training or transitioning to college or a job.
