GradGuard

Tuition insurance

Protect your college investment

What happens when your education is disrupted by a serious life event? Depending on when you withdraw from school, you may not be eligible to receive a full refund of your tuition and fees.

GradGuard Tuition Insurance enhances the scope of Missouri State's existing refund policy. Students and parents can avoid a financial loss when the unexpected happens.
Ensure your financial well-being

Are you ready for college?

Many schools don't offer a full tuition refund once classes start. With GradGuard, you can be financially protected in case you get sick, injured or face a life crisis. The following percentages are based on a American College Health Association spring 2024 survey.
21%
Percentage of students who experienced ongoing or chronic depression.
58%
Percentage of students with concussions say it negatively impacted their academic performance.
46%
Percentage of students with colds indicated that it negatively impacted their academic performance.

Important: You need to purchase a plan by the end of the first week of classes for each term

Don't wait before it's too late.

Tuition insurance must be purchased by the end of the first week of classes for each term and is offered as a voluntary benefit to our families. Your participation is not required but highly recommended. Missouri State University is not compensated for this program.

Covered withdrawals can take place any time during the covered term. GradGuard also offers members special access to an Assistance Hotline to help students and their families take care of emergencies and unexpected issues.
