Tax preparation for 2019 filing season

The VITA Tax Preparation Clinic will not be held at Missouri State University this year. 

For free federal and state tax preparation and electronic filing, call 417-720-2000 for an appointment or more information. Volunteers will start taking appointments starting January 22nd, 2019. Please leave your name and contact information so they can return your call. Phone lines may be busy, so keep trying. Income threshold for free tax preparation is $54,000.

Sending forms electronically

To e-file your 2018 tax return or other electronic forms, you must verify your identity with your Adjusted Gross Income from your 2017 tax return.
