Religious Studies Minor

Develop skills for a lifetime

If you have a strong interest in religions and want to develop skills that employers value, a minor in religious studies will serve you well. Our minors have a global outlook, good communication abilities and excellent interpersonal skills. You will gain training to think analytically and to read, write and speak effectively. These skills can help you adjust to and succeed in a rapidly changing workplace.

Religious studies also offers more than $10,000 in scholarships to majors and minors every year. This minor can be paired with a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Education (Non-Certifiable), Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or Bachelor of Social Work degree.

Students from virtually every field of study at Missouri State have received a religious studies minor, including the following:

  • Anthropology
