 EMSAS (State Compliance)

Since the fall of 1987, the Missouri Department of Higher Education (MDHE) has annually collected student unit-record information from public institutions across the state. Now known collectively as the Enhanced Missouri Student Achievement Study (EMSAS), these collections have proven invaluable in the ongoing analysis and evaluation of postsecondary education in Missouri. Statistical summaries contain numberous tables of aggregate data for Missouri public and independent institutions.

Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS)

IPEDS consists of extensive data collected, analyzed, and reported by the National Center for Educational Statistics (NCES) since 1986. These data are widely used in the evaluation and comparisons of  approximately 7,500 higher education institutions across the United States. For more comprehensive information, visit the IPEDS Data Center. View the IPEDS Data Center User Manual for assistance using these data.

The IPEDS data collection effort consists of several components, each with a specific purpose and collected at a specific time. One of our most requested data is the IPEDS Graduation Rate Summary.

All data are available through the IPEDS Use the Data page or click here to download, view, and print as a pdf file.
